Bass Resistance has emerged from the Ukrainian Bass underground scene. Relocated Artists have united in Berlin to catalyse positive change in electronic music on the intersection of music, arts and social activism.
In 2 Years we organized events, fundraising tours and media projects to raise over 20 000 Euros for humanitarian purposes. In 2025 our collective was awarded by the Tag der Clubcultur Award by Berlin Club Commission for design, curation and impact in the electronic music scene.

A 12-track V/A compilation featuring six Ukrainian artists and six international creators. All proceeds go directly to the Vitsche campaign to help build a bomb-shelter school in the Kharkiv region.

Roman Selezinka aka Habitat Shaking is a Berlin-based DJ, promoter, curator, and activist from Ukraine. Co-founder of "Chain Reaction" and "Bass Resistance" collectives. Resident of THF Radio, known for his modern and groovy selection of leftfield house, breaks, and bass music. Performed at Else, Aedet, Oxi, and Re:mise, at Berlin Art Week and Karneval der Kulturen, and recently made a tour in Brazil.
DJ from Kyiv. Her sets are a tribute to dance music with engaging vocals, shifted rhythms and heavy bass lines transcending genre boundaries. Resident of LYL Radio and 20ft Radio. Performed at CXEMA, Le bon air festival 2024, and Nuits sonores 2024.
Olha Udovenko — Ukrainian DJ, former member of Kharkiv's Kultura Zvuku. Her sound is a trippy fusion of broken, bass-heavy rhythms, deep textures, and futuristic grooves. Since March 2022 based in Berlin, gaining recognition globally. Performed at RSO Berlin, Bassiani in Tbilisi, and Radion in Amsterdam.
Ukraine-born, Berlin-based multi-genre DJ with a wide take on modern Bass Music. Co-founder of Anklav and Salo event series. Bass Resistance resident, responsible for curating modern and relevant lineups with emerging and established artists.
Artistic alter ego of Andrii Yankovskyi — music selector, cultural manager, creative producer, and civil rights advocate. Founder of HVLV Music Bar and Bass Resistance. Co-founder of Ukrainian Sound Garden Festival and Kyiv's first Nightlife Advocacy Association – UNight. Performed in Kyiv, Berlin, Wroclaw, Liverpool, Barcelona and Montreal.
